Oil companies look to Israel as next player in oil and gas

Houston-based ATP Oil & Gas Corp. on Feb. 24 arranged to buy five licenses in the Israeli portion of the Levantine basin an area around the historical Levant of Syria, Lebanon and Israel. ATP said the discovery holds about 25 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.

I was thinking this morning that if a HUGE oil reserve is in the Land this would make it almost impossible for the Arabs to resist attacking and taking for their own.
They would get rid of the Jews AND have a lifestyle like the rich and famous Saudis!!!!!!
Also they would definetly not want the "Satan" America to get that oil!!!

Breaking News..Oil in Israel!!

In case anyone missed it last summer, oil has been discovered in Northern Israel. We’re not waiting for an oil discovery – it’s already happened! The oil has been/is being produced and sold. What’s more, the exploration company, Givot Olam, based its search for oil in Israel on Scripture. That’s right, oil has been discovered in Israel, based on Bible passages predicting the discovery and its location. The same Bible (Torah) passages used by Jim Spillman, back in 1981 in his book, The Great Treasure Hunt. The same passages Zion Oil & Gas Founder John Brown heard him teach on a Zion Temple in Michigan thirty years ago and took to heart. Included Jacob’s Blessing, recorded in Genesis 49 and Deuteronomy 33, is the prophecy of a last days oil discovery. Jacob’s descendants will be blessed from the “deep that coucheth beneath”; “for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills, and for the precious things of the earth.” Issachar and Zebulun “shall suck of the abundance of the seas and of treasures hid in the sand.” Asher will “dip his foot in oil.”

4 February 2011 – Operations Update

Dear Shareholder and/or Friend of Zion

Since my previous update to you, during the past two weeks, Zion has made further notable progress.

We have now drilled the Ma’anit-Joseph #3 well to approximately 16,430 feet and are continuing to drill deeper, as you can read below. If you place eleven Empire State Buildings on top of each other, you will reach, almost exactly, a height of 16,000 feet.

The Ma’anit-Joseph #3 well is already one of the deepest wells ever drilled onshore Israel. Our Exploration Manager, Stephen Pierce, advises that, almost certainly, stratigraphically (i.e. with regard to the age of the sedimentary rocks in the rock strata), in Northern Israel, no-one has ever drilled as deep as our current well has already been drilled.

We believe that, as early as next week, we may begin to approach the Permian geological layer; although we currently project that we won’t reach the well’s target depth until approximately mid-March 2011.
