Earthquakes are one of the signs of the end of Grace time period.

Matthew 24:3-8 "While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: "Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?" 4 And in answer Jesus said to them 7 "For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress."

Since the fall of Adam we have been given the laws of Entropy and the 2nd law of thermodynamics.Not good.
In other words all life is decaying...this will not be so in the new world.

Gen. 1:18 God saw that it was good....this meant that in the original world we must not have had entropy etc. as this was not good.

Your own strength

Rely on God not on your own work.
Temptations will cross your path...don't be alarmed..expect it.
The only strength comes from God.

Curse of sin Part 3

The third part of this curse concerns Cain's reaction to his brother Abel.
The murder brought violence into our world and has it ever been a problem since then.
This modern age sees more violence with WFC fights getting more violent.
Also all the shooting games that the children now consider games.

8Cain told Abel his brother. And it came about when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and (A)killed him.

9Then the LORD said to Cain, "(B)Where is Abel your brother?" And he said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?"

10He said, "What have you done? (C)The voice of your brother's blood is crying to Me from the ground.

11"Now (D)you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand.

12"(E)When you cultivate the ground, it will no longer yield its strength to you; (F)you will be a vagrant and a wanderer on the earth."

Earth was cursed also so that man would have to toil to earn his living.

Curse of Sin

Ever wonder why life is just off key???
Death,sickness,disappointments,etc.
Well it is because of Adam and his first sin.
Immortality was lost because of that and an intimate communication with God.

Generation Age

"And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years." Genesis 6:3.

When the Lord had said that there were giants in the earth in those days, He had in the previous verse just set a time period that would end in a hundred and twenty years. So the sentence saying "and also after that" must refer to the same period of time. The hundred and twenty years of time the people of Noah's day were given was so that they could repent of their sins and come back to God. So after that would be after Noah's flood, the end of the 120 years.

Could this 120 years apply to our present time since 1948 plus 120 equals the year 2068???

Would make sense God would use the same time frame as Noah and the Ark compared to present day Israel which is a sign of the End of an Age.

Can a Christian believe in Evolution????

According to the theory of Intelligent Design, God designed the Universe (along with its laws - the law of species evolution included) and then the universe evolved. This theory makes sense. Universe indeed seems well designed (a slight change to the 200-th decimal point of the gravitational constant or the electron charge would lead to a universe that cannot support life). Moreover, the evolution theory indeed explains some things in the micro-level of species evolution. However, having explained how fish evolved does not mean that you have explained the creation of the Universe! This is a huge logical leap done by people who believe in Darwin, that is not substantially justified.

I do believe that around 6000 years ago God created the Adam and Eve type human by whatever means as we know it. Maybe some genetic change perhaps.
Before that there must have been all kinds of evolved species and life which the archaeological evidence supports.

where does the 1 day/1000 year analysis come from???

8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

we use this to calculate many prophetic passages in the Bible.

What is God's schedule? The Bible strongly suggests that God has a total plan for the present world of 7000 years. Biblical history so far has transversed 6000 years. This history of the world consists of 3 clearly delineated periods of 2000 years each - the Early period from Adam to Abraham, the Hebrew period from Abraham to Jesus Christ, and the Christian Period from Jesus Christ to now. Add to that the 1000-year Millennium period still yet to come for a total of 7000 years. This scenario is biblically supported by:
(1) the 7-day model described in Genesis 1:1-2:3,
(2) the 7th day as a day of rest and comparing that to entering the Millennium rest (Ps 95:11, Heb 3:11, 4:3-5),
(3) the prophecy in Hosea 6:2 regarding the remaining time being 2 days plus the 3rd day, and
(4) the message in Psalm 90:3 and restated in 2Peter 3:8 that with God a day is like a 1000 years.

The New Earth

God destroyed the surface of the earth by Flood in the past and promised not to destroy it again via that method..hence the rainbow.
However He will destroy both heaven and earth by Fire in the time to come to be replaced by a new Paradise!!!
A new world like the Garden of Eden that Peter spoke of in 2 Peter 3:13
13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

How do we share our time???

Friendship is very important..Jesus had many friends during his time on earth.
Your job or vocation is also important...you must give it your best to serve the Lord.
Church time another priority. You should desire to share your time with other believers.
Spend some time to get your rest and restore your energy..the body should be a temple for the Holy Spirit.

why can we believe in the Bible???

What other religious doctrine can predict the future?? in fufilled prophecies.

Why we can count on the Bible

The way I see it there are three important prophecies in the bible.

2. Christ was prophesied in the old testament Isiah 800 BC that he would come to Be the Saviour. Jesus

3. Israels restoration 1948 then to survive forever. 1948

Feast of Tabernacles

This is to be celebrated in the Millennium kingdom by the Gentiles who survive Armageddon.
They will come to Jerusalem every year to Honour God.

what is the Feast of Trumpets???

The Feast of Trumpets is a Biblical holy day observed by Bible believers who keep the Seven Feasts of Israel. It is also known as the Jewish holy day Rosh Hashanah. Most view its fulfilment as a key waypoint into the End times. They believe that this epic future "day of the blowing of the shofar" will be a landmark day in history.
It occurs on Sept. or Oct each year.

Can a Christian marry a divorced person???

Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery" (Matthew 19:9; see also Matthew 5:31, 32).

the answer I think is NO.
If divorced you must live a celibate life till your ex passes.

the year 1948 Predicted in the bible concerning the restoration of the State of Israel!!

Bible passage: Ezekiel 4:3-6
Written: between 593-571 BC
Fulfilled: 1948

In Ezekiel 4:3-6 the prophet said the Jew who had lost control of their homeland would be punished for 430 years. This prophecy according to Bible scholar Grant Jeffrey pinpointed the 1948 rebirth of Israel. Here's a summary of Jeffrey's theory:

1. Ezekiel said the Jews were to be punished for 430 years because they had turned away from God. As part of the punishment the Jews lost control of their homeland to Babylon. Many Jews were taken as captives to Babylon.

2. Babylon was later conquered by Cyrus in 539 BC. Cyrus allowed the Jews to leave Babylon and to return to their homeland. But only a small number returned. The return had taken place sometime around 536 BC about 70 years after Judah lost independence to Babylon.

3. Because most of the exiles chose to stay in pagan Babylon rather than return to the Holy Land the remaining 360 years of their punishment was multiplied by 7. The reason is explained in Bible's book of Leviticus. (Leviticus 26:18 26:21 26:24 and 26:28). In Leviticus it says that if the people did not repent while being punished the punishment would be multiplied by 7. And by staying in pagan Babylon most exiles were refusing to repent.

4. So if you take the remaining 360 years of punishment and multiply by 7 you get 2520 years. But Jeffrey says those years are based on an ancient 360-day lunar calendar. If those years are adjusted to the modern solar calendar the result is 2484 years.

5. And there were exactly 2484 years from 536 BC to 1948.

Salvation by works

Through infant baptism, keeping sacraments, church membership, going to mass, praying to Mary, and confession (just to mention a few), the Catholic church has developed a system of salvation through WORKS. God's word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not through works:

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Eph. 2:8-9)

"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." (Romans 4:5)

The New Jerusalem

The Christians of old always had a strong belief in the New Jerusalem.
Their faith was so real they lived as strangers and pilgrims on this earth
Too many Christians today have lost their faith in and longing for the New Jerusalem.
They live each day only on their hopes and fears of their daily lives
and fallen in love with this world.
Things like bad television and movies,music.
In the past Christians were accused of being so heavenly minded that they were no earthly good!!!

the mass

By perverting the Christian practice of the Lord's Supper (Mat. 26:26-28; I Cor. 11:23-27), the Catholic Church has created the Mass, which they believe to be a continual sacrifice of Jesus Christ:

"Christ...commanded that his bloody sacrifice on the Cross should be daily renewed by an unbloody sacrifice of his body and blood in the Mass under the simple elements of bread and wine." (The Catholic Encyclopedia, Vol. 10, Pg. 13, Article: "Mass, Sacrifice of")

Jesus never made such a command. If you'll check the above references in Matthew 26 and I Corinthians 11, you'll see for yourself that the Lord's Supper is a MEMORIAL and a SHOWING of Christ's death until He comes again. It is not a sacrifice. The Catholic Encyclopedia states the following:

"In the celebration of the Holy Mass, the bread and wine are changed into the body and blood of Christ. It is called transubstantiation, for in the Sacrament of the Eucharist the substance of bread and wine do not remain, but the entire substance of bread is changed into the body of Christ, and the entire substance of wine is changed into his blood, the species or outward semblence of bread and wine alone remaining." (Vol. 4, pg. 277, Article: "Consecration")

The Catholic Church teaches that the "Holy Mass" is a LITERAL EATING AND DRINKING OF THE LITERAL FLESH AND BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. The priest supposedly has the power to change the bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ.

Now, what does God's word say about such practices? If you'll read Genesis 9:4, Leviticus 17:11-12, and Acts 15:29, you will find that God absolutely FORBIDS the drinking of blood all through the Bible.

Rome teaches that the Mass is a continual "sacrifice" of Jesus Christ, but God's word states that Jesus made the FINAL sacrifice on Calvary! This is made perfectly clear in Hebrews 10:10-12:

"By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God."

The mass is unnecessary and unscriptural.
