Christ on the Cross

Many times to speed up the death process they would smash and break the legs of those on the cross.
This would make it impossible to pull up on their legs and be able to breathe against the constant pull downwards.
They did not do this to Jesus because it was predicted in the old testament that this would harm the perfect sacrifice (a reference to animal lamb sacrifices)
