is the death penalty ok????

we must recognize that God has given government the authority to determine when capital punishment is due (Genesis 9:6; Romans 13:1-7). It is unbiblical to claim that God opposes the death penalty in all instances. Christians should never rejoice when the death penalty is employed, but at the same time, Christians should not fight against the government’s right to execute the perpetrators of the most evil of crimes.

Especially for crimes against children which are so prevalent in the sick society of today.

Iran

Ezekiel 38 - 39 . . .



The Bible warns Iran (Persia), with Russia ('Magog'), and a coalition of allies (including Turkey and Sudan) will attack and will invade Israel. In Ezekiel 38-39 the Bible warns this coming war between Iran (Persia) and Israel will take place sometime after Israel has been re-gathered into Her land as a nation (which was fulfilled on May 14, 1948) ... this prophetic war has never yet taken place ... the only time in history Persia (Iran) has ever gone to war against Israel was to help Israel throw off the yoke of the Byzantine Empire around 614 AD. The Bible warns the US will NOT defend Israel. According to the Bible, Israel must stand alone ... with God. For when this coming war does finally start, the United States (for reasons yet unknown) will be unable or unwilling to help Israel defend herself. Although the Bible warns the invading armies will be ultimately destroyed by God, it will be a devastating war for both Israel and the whole world. Bible scholars are divided as to whether this coming war is part of the prophetic battle of Armageddon or will just precede the battle of Armageddon in order to prepare the path for the coming Antichrist (a coming 'world leader' who will enforce a 'peace plan' upon Israel). All people of the world should be sitting on the edge of their seats with white knuckles watching this terrible prophecy slowly start to unfold ... while believing Christians (followers ... both Jew and Gentile ... of Jesus (Yeshua), the promised Messiah) are told to "examine" themselves in the Word and in faith to insure they are not just 'almost' Christians (Matthew 7:21-23) who are "lukewarm" in their faith in God's Word (Revelation 3:14-16) ... for Jesus (Yeshua) the Messiah warns all to, "Watch, therefore, and pray always (not just sometimes), that you will be counted worthy (through His worthiness) to escape all these things (the terrible events of the coming 'Apocalypse') that will come to pass" ... (Luke 21:36) ... for He also warns that never in the history of Mankind has there been (or will there be) anything as terrible as the coming "Apocalypse" (also called the "Great Tribulation"... Matthew 24:21 ... and "the time of Jacob's (Israel's) trouble"... Jeremiah 30:7) and only a small remnant of the world will survive ... yet, the Bible promises believing Christians (faithful and sincere believers in Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha'Mashiach in Hebrew) who are alive at that time and have endured in their faith in God's Word are not "appointed" to this coming time of "God's wrath" that will be "poured out" upon the "whole world"... (1 Thessalonians 1:10 ... 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11)



Ezekiel 38:1-10 . . .



"Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

‘Son of man, set your face against Gog (a powerful leader),

of the land of Magog (translated 'Scythia' in Greek ... the area of modern day Russia),

the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, (Meshech and Tubal are in and around Turkey)

and prophesy against him, and say,

Thus says the Lord GOD:

‘Behold, I am against you, O Gog (a powerful human or dark-angelic leader),

the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. (Turkey)

I will turn you around,

put hooks into your jaws (perhaps from greed, a mutual defense treaty, or a UN resolution)

and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed,

a great company with bucklers and shields,

all of them handling swords (weapons). (The Russian army will march again)

Persia (Iran), (Iran is listed first, meaning it will be the 'lead' ally)

Ethiopia (Sudan ,,,,"Cush"), and Libya (northern African nation(s) are with them,

all of them with shield and helmet.

Gomer and all its troops; (Germany-France, eastern Europe, or "Galatia"- Turkey)

the house of Togarmah (Armenia) from the far north and all its troops -

many people are with you. (NATO member Turkey will join this coalition)

Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you;

and be a guard for them. (Russia will act as a "guard" ... and supplier of weapons)

After many days you will be visited. (Meaning, this would happen in the far future)

In the latter years you (Russia-Iran)

will come into the land of those brought back from the sword (Israel!)

and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel,

which had long been desolate (this war will take place after Israel became a nation in 1948)

they (Jews in Israel) were brought out of the nations,

and now all of them dwell safely.

You will ascend, coming like a storm, (they may attack from the south, or from the air, or both)

covering the land (of Israel) like a cloud,

you and all your troops and many peoples with you."

‘Thus says the Lord GOD:

“On that day it shall come to pass

that thoughts will arise in your mind,

and you will make an evil plan:

You (the one who leads Russia) will say,

‘I will go up against a land of unwalled villages; (the cities in Israel are no longer 'walled')

I will go to a peaceful people, who dwell safely,

all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates’

to take plunder and to take booty,

to stretch out your hand against the waste places that are again inhabited, (look at Israel today)

and against a people gathered from the nations, (this will take place after 1948!)

who have acquired livestock and goods,

who dwell in the midst of the land.

Sheba (Saudi Arabia), Dedan (Kuwait), (Saudi Arabia and Kuwait will not join this invasion)

the merchants of Tarshish (may be England),

and all their young lions will say to you, (may be former colonies like Canada, Australia, and the US)

‘Have you come to take plunder?

Have you gathered your army to take booty,

to carry away silver and gold,

to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?’”’
“Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog,

‘Thus says the Lord GOD:

“On that day when My people Israel dwell safely, will you not know it?

Then you will come from your place out of the far north, (Russia is 'far north' of Israel)

you and many peoples with you,

all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army.

You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land.

It will be in the latter days

that I will bring you against My land, (we are now living in 'the latter days')

so that the nations may know Me,

when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes.”

Thus says the Lord GOD:

“Are you he of whom I have spoken in former days (prophesy fulfilled)

by My servants the prophets of Israel,

who prophesied for years in those days

that I would bring you against them?

“And it will come to pass at the same time,
when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord GOD,
“that My fury will show in My face.
For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken:
‘Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel,
so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field,
all creeping things that creep on the earth,
and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence.
The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall,
and every wall shall fall to the ground.’
I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord GOD.
“Every man’s sword will be against his brother.
And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed;
I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him,
flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself,
and I will be known in the eyes of many nations.
Then they shall know that I am the LORD.”’ (The invading coalition of armies will be destroyed ...)

Third Temple Plans for Rebuilding in Jerusalem.
They could start building tomorrow. There are 12 groups that are in preparation. They've chosen the location, a computer registry of 300,000 of the sons of Aaron (the Levites), many robes are prepared, over 150 sacred vessels have already been restored, including some of the most difficult and complicated projects, such as the Menorah and the precious stones of the High Priest's breastplate. The architects are selected to rebuild with plans according to the bible. All but the ark of the covenant, which they believe is there. Also needed is a pure red heifer.

Israelites around the world

So long ago they came they refer to themselves as Israelites rather than Jews because they left before the split from the time of Judah.

Interesting that sacrificial sheep would give birth to their lambs in the manger and immediately would be wrapped in swaddling clothes to prevent damage to their legs.
In the same way they describe Jesus's birth....indicating the ultimate sacrifice.

some cults believe that Britain is one of the places where the tribes migrated to.
However this could not be as in the Bible it says that no King or Prince would rule over them while exiled.
England has had rulers for over 1000 years.

August 9th in Jewish history

According to the Mishnah (Taanit 4:6),

1. The twelve spies sent by Moses to observe the land of Canaan returned from their mission. Only two of the spies, Joshua and Caleb, brought a positive report, while the others spoke disparagingly about the land. The majority report caused the Children of Israel to cry, panic and despair of ever entering the "Promised Land". For this, they were punished by God that their generation would not enter the land. Because of the Israelites' lack of faith, God decreed that for all generations this date would become one of crying and misfortune for their descendants, the Jewish people. (See Numbers Ch. 13–14)
2. The First Temple built by King Solomon and the Kingdom of Judah was destroyed by the Babylonians led by Nebuchadnezzar in 586 BCE and the Judeans were sent into the Babylonian exile.
3. The Second Temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 CE, scattering the people of Judea and commencing the Jewish exile from the Holy Land.
4. Bar Kokhba's revolt against Rome failed in 135 CE. Simon bar Kokhba was killed, and the city of Betar was destroyed.
5. Following the Roman siege of Jerusalem, the razing of Jerusalem occurred the next year. A Temple was built in its stead to an idol.
6. Jews kicked out of SPAIN 1492.
According to the Talmud in tractate Ta'anit, the destruction of the Second Temple began on the ninth and was finally consumed by the flames the next day on the Tenth of Av.

The odds of this happening by chance are unbelievable!!!

The New World Order

One advantage to the World Empire will be the total inability to evade taxes.
In America if they raised the taxes too much on the rich they could simply move to another part of the world.But a world empire would make that not an option!!!
Also the computer chip technology would make all your records available to the powers that be. They could investigate any unusual buying/selling patterns.

the Christmas Gifts

At Jesus birth he was given gold,frankincense and myrrh.
Gold signifies the purity of Jesus.
Frankincense indicates the pleasant aroma that goes forth and pleases God.
Myrrh is the interesting gift as in olden times it was used as an embalming agent.
They would wrap the body with myrrh in between the cloth wrapping.
Now you would wonder why this would be a gift the wise men would consider for Jesus.
But I think it signifies that Jesus was born to die for our sins.

The Book of Joel

I was reading this this morning and noticed several references to the end time and the fact that no more armies would run across Israel in the end time.
Jerusalem would be in the hands of God and Israel forever!!!!!
There are so many references to the end times scattered throughout the old testament.

Marriage

This is a very sacred institution from God.
He even compares the Church and Himself as being groom and Bride and the wedding feast after we are Raptured!
Another reason why you should take marriage seriously on earth.

Climate change

Could this just be a ruse to enable the new world order to fulfill its dreams???
The ice that they say is melting in the Arctic is being replenished.
And besides it is only about 15% of the worlds ice...the rest is in Antarctica which is not declining!!!

2012 end of the World????

Well the world will never end according to Christ but the end of this Age will.
I was thinking if you take a generation of 70 years add it to 1948 we come to 2018.
Take 7 years off for the Tribulation and we have a date close to the 2012 figure as predicted in the Mayan calendar!!!

Listen to how the Apostle John describes the identity of the beast, the last world empire...

Revelation 17:3-6
So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

On the back of the Greek Euro, we have exactly the same image as the Apostle John describes. A woman, arrayed in purple and scarlet, sitting on a beast, with a cup in her hand. This of course is a symbolic description, but I believe John's description is so vivid, and the characteristics of the woman are so peculiar, that they reveal beyond all doubt, the identity of the woman and the beast she rides.

"They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle" (Revelation 9:9). This future event of course describes modern "chariots" of war - tanks and attack helicopters.

But as the Bible declares, G-d HAS NOT forsaken His covenant people and, “as new covenant believers,” we are commanded by G-d’s Word to stand together with the Jewish people whom the world has abused. As the fulfillment of prophecy is for the Jewish people- for them, the realization of their covenant and for them, the answer to their prayers of countless generations:

“And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the Lord the God.” (Amos 9: 15)

For in Exodus 32: 13 He said, “… all of this land which I have spoken of will I give to your descendants and they shall inherit it forever.”
